Dear John
This book has been on my to-read list for a long time, and I've owned it for almost 2 years. I finally sat down and read it today. It wasn't quite what I was expecting. The I knew that the ending was sad, I had heard spoilers over the years, but the details of war were very raw, and emotional. Despite my dislike of the ending of the story for John, I absolutely loved the romance in the beginning of the story.
